All the performances in front of the group and on stage were incredibly valuable — they gave me the courage and confidence to be myself in front of an audience. Maintaining eye contact with listeners, using pauses effectively, and thinking through the structure of a speech were all extremely practical takeaways that I will definitely apply going forward. And not just on stage, but in everyday communication too. Learning to use gestures — and being encouraged to do so — was equally valuable. The whole course was a truly amazing experience and I recommend it 200% to everyone.
